About this webinar
International students come for an education and to look for new opportunities not available in their home countries. Many are seeking out internships and job experience. These endeavors may even take international students out of ministry events as they focus on what they need to do for their future. Kevin Niemann and Lauren Davis, Bridges International staff in New York City, have found the solution. The Bridges Fellows program in NYC was born from a desire to “professionalize” discipleship: to give students ministry leadership opportunities that could go on their resume and to connect them with industry leaders in their fields in NYC. Learn how you can create similar opportunities for international students in your ministry.
Kevin has been on staff with Bridges International for 14 years and has also spent 10 years serving with Cru in Russia. Kevin taught one of the most popular EveryInternational lessons, Overcoming Barriers where he shares the joys to be found in crossing into new worlds. Lauren has been on staff with Bridges for 7 years. Kevin and Lauren lead a team of 4 in NYC where they minister on 2 different campuses that collectively host 70,000 international students.
