Welcoming New International Students

Last year welcoming international students looked very different. Many students were not able to enter the country, some campuses were only virtual, and students had to make alternative education plans. While unknowns still remain this year international students are not subject to travel bans and if they are able to obtain their visa in time will be arriving on campus for a much anticipated new fall semester. Our July webinar will be a refresher on welcoming new international students and laying the groundwork to create gospel sharing opportunities. Hear ideas and how to execute them as well as excellent conversation starters to begin having open spiritual conversations from day one.

This webinar will be taught by Shirley from InterFACE Ministries and she will share from her 35 years of experience in international student ministry. Learn about an innovative event they hold, “Passport to School”, a week-long program for children of international students that will be entering the public school system. This meets a huge need of both children and parents! Get tips on how you can do something similar to welcome the whole family when students aren’t arriving alone. As always you’ll be provided with free resources and the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas through our chat box.
