Free. There is no cost to join and use EveryInternational. Thanks to our generous partners all content is free, including the optional distance ministry coaching after completing a course.
The EveryInternational initiative is dedicated to equipping volunteers to become effective cross-cultural ministers of the Gospel. We accomplish this through free video lessons organized into multi-level courses. The lessons will take you through every step in the process, from meeting and befriending students all the way to discipling them and sending them back to their homelands as an ambassador of Christ.
We are a long-term collaboration of international student ministries across North America. Partners include: The Association of Christians Ministering among Internationals, China Outreach Ministries, International Student Ministries Canada, Reformed University Fellowship, Interface ministries, Lausanne Movement, Navigators International Students, Bridges International, International Friendships, Campus Ambassadors, Power to Change, Chi Alpha Internationals, Intervarsity International Student Ministry, International students Inc.
Our lessons are presented by 37 different ministry experts representing 16 different organizations and 18 nations. Many instructors have been international students themselves and they have decades of ministry experience.
EveryInternational is designed for any Christian wanting to share their faith with an international. Whether you've never had the courage to share the gospel or you've been in ministry for 20 years, EveryInternational can help you take the next step in ministering to internationals.
Video content is 10-18 minutes. Additional time is needed to complete the reflection/discussion questions.
Each lesson includes a 10-18 minute training video, a downloadable notes, discussion/reflection questions, questions to review the content, and a challenge/application question to help you apply what you are learning. A week after you complete each lesson you will receive an email to help you review the content.
Each course can be completed in about four hours. You can complete this at your own pace, dedicating a single chunk of time or spreading it out over several weeks or months.
Each course is built from 11-12 lessons, with a select few lessons that are in more than one course. Within each course there are six different skill sets: Discovering God's Heart for the Nations, Understanding Worldviews, Befriending Internationals, Sharing Christ's Love, Developing Leaders, and Launching an ISM. After completing a course you will receive an email that reviews all of the challenge steps you have been given. The email will also contain a link to access our free ministry coaching.
Earning badges help you celebrate and track your progress. Badges are earned after completing the 1-2 lessons in each skill set of a course. Badges are: Discovering God's Heart for the Nations, Understanding Worldviews, Befriending Internationals, Sharing Christ's Love, Developing Leaders, and Launching an ISM. Badges earned in Getting Started in International Ministry are bronze, badges earned in Growing in International Ministry are silver, and badges earned in Multiplying in International Ministry are gold, badges earned in Engaging Immigrants are green.
Certificates are earned for completing one of our four courses; Getting Started in International Ministry, Growing in International Ministry, Multiplying in International Ministry or Engaging Immigrants. Certificates are downloadable and will display your name along with the course name. After earning a certificate you become eligible for distance ministry coaching.
Our free distance coaching will pair you with a ministry expert that will connect with you via phone or video chat to discuss your ministry goals. Your coach will help you develop a personalized plan and execute it. This coaching can be a one-time connection or ongoing, depending on your situation.
To be eligible for a one-time coaching session you must have completed one lesson. After completing a full course you are eligible for ongoing coaching. You will receive an email invitation to ministry coaching after completing your first lesson and after completing a course.
One of the reasons we created EveryInternational is to be a resource for ministers and pastors. Internationals need the local church to display the body of Christ to them and we want to help your church do that in a culturally relevant and loving way. There are multiple ways you can utilize EveryInternational in your church, possibilities include a Sunday School Class or small group Bible study, project-based training, training for motivated individuals, and vision casting.
We also offer free customized courses tailored to your church's needs and goals. Learn more about the customized course option and check out an example.
We can also talk through the specific needs of your church and answer any questions you have. Email us at [email protected].
Videos are not downloadable from the EveryInternational website. However, if you are using EI videos in a group setting where there is unreliable internet, contact us at [email protected] and we can give you access to download specific videos.
Even if you don't know any internationals yet we encourage you to start and/or continue with the lessons on EveryInternational. There are ideas shared in some of the videos.
