Ukrainian Refugee Crisis

Russia invaded Ukraine six months ago causing Europe’s largest refugee crisis since World War II. One third of Ukrainians have been displaced, nearly 7 million of them fleeing the country. Hear stories of God’s kingdom work in Ukraine historically and current day. Learn about the history and people of Ukraine as well as ongoing relief efforts. You will also learn how to pray for Ukraine and how you can minister to the Ukrainians in your community.

This webinar will be taught by Omar Garcia, missions pastor at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas. Omar and his team mobilize more than 3,000 volunteers annually to serve others through local and international missions initiatives. Kingsland’s missions ministry has adopted 18 unreached people groups and also addresses a variety of transcultural concerns such as the sanctity of human life, the global water crisis, fighting human trafficking, and addressing the needs of children in 23 countries. You’ll be provided with free resources and the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas through our chat box during the webinar.
