Stories of God’s Work
International students and immigrants share how God met them in unexpected ways and how their lives were forever changed as a result. Hear how God gave a Sri Lankan refugee true belonging, how a Malaysian international student is seeking to make God known to all nations, and how an orphan from Kazakhstan found her new family in Christ. Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be challenged. Learn their stories and better understand the journey of an international.

With 4 full-time staff and 1200 international students involved in our ministry of “setting the table” for international students and volunteers to connect, we could not have done any of this without nearly 400 amazing volunteers. EveryInternational has played a huge part in getting our volunteers both excited and equipped to share the love of Jesus with international students. We’ve appreciated the flexibility of both encouraging volunteers to watch training videos on their own time and schedule, watching EveryInternational videos in-person with volunteers at training events, and making use of the print documents on the EveryInternational website. We are grateful to God for the work of Every International and how it has encouraged and prepared our volunteers to intentionally share life and the gospel with the nations here in the Twin Cities.
The EveryInternational videos are just what I had been looking for! They are clear, succinct, cover the subjects we want to address, and not specific to the Western context like most other ISM materials. I’ve written most of the videos into an ISM volunteer training curriculum that we hope to launch here in the Philippines later this year. Thank you!
I love this teaching. Since last year I have learned so much about internationals. I got in love with inter-culture. For my whole life I have been involved with this, but I didn’t know how to deal with people around me. But since I started to watch the videos it gave me clarity and understanding on how to do that.
After hearing all the stories and seeing all the different ways in which international students can be engaged it [EveryInternational] has definitely modified and enhanced my approach to doing ministry as well as just getting to know students from other countries a lot better than before. I will also say that it has encouraged me to really try to talk about the gospel on the terms of the individual or group upon which I might be speaking to.
I am very impressed with the very practical training that Everyinternational.com provides for reaching students. This is so helpful to develop and train volunteers to reach the nations here, now!
I’ve been working with Chinese for some 30 years in various capacities. These courses give great reasons to be involved with the nations God is sending to America and other countries where they can be much more easily reached with the gospel. The courses on cultural sensitivity are really good and help people get started on the right foot. The different worldview course is especially relevant for westerners to see different perspectives.
EveryInternational has been an incredible resource for our Apartment Life coordinators, who work with a diverse range of residents in our communities. The insights and training provided have given us a deeper understanding of different cultures, equipping us to reach out in ways that are both meaningful and compassionate. It’s not just about learning, but truly loving our neighbors across all demographics—transforming communities with intentional acts of kindness and care
We are so grateful for the customized EveryInternational course our church has made available on our website. We have a Friendship Partners program which matches an American with an international student or spouse. At our recent orientation, the coordinator asked each American to access EI and learn as much as possible about their international partner’s culture. I have worked with internationals for years, but recently I watched a session on welcoming internationals. It was encouraging to hear a wide variety of free activities to enjoy with new students to introduce them to America. I gained many new ideas. Thank you for EI! It is a valuable resource!
Do you want to feel confident engaging with international students? Are you afraid you might mistakenly offend someone because you don’t know about their culture? Then this series is perfect for you. My ministry involves working with international students and the EveryInternational website and videos have been a great tool to help me get equipped to interact with the students and the administration on campus. This is a fun and easy way to learn that sticks with you.
EveryInternational training has been very helpful because it addresses many topics that volunteers have asked at one time or another. For example, it has helped me and others to learn more about our Chinese, SA, and Muslim friends. Looking ahead, I believe these videos will further encourage new volunteers that desire to bless the internationals in our area. It will answer many questions they have and give them skills and knowledge needed to be effective ministers of the gospel of Christ.
The content is so good I would like to share the videos with as many of our volunteers as I can. I’ve been in international ministry for 40+ years and this is some of the best training I’ve seen.
These videos are extremely well produced and the presenters deliver their content with the confidence and clarity of a TED talk speaker — but usually in less time. This is an incredibly valuable tool that will both inspire and instruct [ministry] staff and volunteers alike in the skills needed to reach internationals with the Gospel.
The number of international students has doubled in our area. Christians are wondering how to be the hands and feet of Jesus to foreigners among them. EveryInternational is exactly what we needed. Their training not only equips for effective ministry, but also sets the building blocks for the international students to be empowered as disciple makers. We are excited to share this with everyone in our community!
